A Healthy Dose Of Evil Fighting Food

Apparently, my dinner on Monday night does not constitute as a real meal. I had an Orange V, two rice crackers, and a bag of lollies. No, this is not what I normally eat. I had planned to have dinner with my partner when he finished work. However, he finished at 10pm, and had already eaten BurgerFuel. So, my snacking constituted as my dinner. Usually this doesn't happen, I have a back-up meal plan. But, on this occasion, I just couldn't be bothered making anything at 10pm. So, candy and sugar it was! And since that night, I have felt ill and awful after so much sour lolly goodness in my system. It was then I decided that having a "Healthy Food Wednesday" would be the best solution.

Unfortunately, this morning I woke up with the dreaded lurgy.

I feel like I have swallowed a cup of liquid metal, that has now solidified in my chest. My throat feels as if I have scrubbed it with a wire brush and Dettol. And my eyes are doing this itchy, blinky, and scratchy thing, while looking bloodshot. My plan of cooking healthy food, and throwing together an amazing salad has been quickly replaced with Apple Tea, Come Dine With Me, and comfy couch. And all studying I had planned also went out the window, as I couldn't take my usual meds with cold meds. So my concentration level is slightly unavailable oh look a squirrel and this cup of tea tastes amazing, Sponge Bob.

So I can feel like I have achieved some of the things I had planned out for today, I have decided that my evening will be spent watching movies on mental illness, and eating good food. And, not only is my dinner plan healthy, but I intend on burning out the evils.

Tonight's recipe is taken from one of my all time favourite chefs, Ms Nigella Lawson. She, in my opinion, is the most yummiest and beautiful of all the famous female chefs. And her food is beyond delicious, just the thought of her recipes make my mouth water! The recipe I am using tonight is loved by myself, and by every person I have served this to. And it is perfect for the flu, as added chili and spice are sure to banish the cold!

Voila. The picture is slightly bright for some reason, unsure why. But, this is my Thai Noodle Soup with Tofu & Prawns.
